Capture the enquiry
The customer has picked wall colours, but the woodwork, repairs and protection need an agreed scope too. Save the customer, property and reported work in the job record.
Make the scope clear
Record what you have checked before you commit to the work:
- Rooms, surfaces and measured areas
- Preparation and repair allowance
- Paint products, colours and finish
- Furniture movement, access and protection
Prepare the quote and book the visit
List preparation separately from decorating. Record additional repairs or changed colours before updating the agreed price. Review the draft, send it when ready and add the agreed visit to your diary.
Finish the job and follow through
Save the final product and colour notes for repeat work. Draft the balance invoice and follow up outstanding payment.
