Capture the enquiry
A customer reports water in the loft. Your inspection needs to establish the repair area, safe access and what cannot be confirmed until work starts. Save the customer, property and reported work in the job record.
Make the scope clear
Record what you have checked before you commit to the work:
- Inspected roof area and observed damage
- Tile or slate match and material quantities
- Scaffold or other access costs
- Waste removal and concealed-work exclusions
Prepare the quote and book the visit
Break the quote into the repair, access and disposal you have priced. Record any newly exposed damage and agree additional work before proceeding. Review the draft, send it when ready and add the agreed visit to your diary.
Finish the job and follow through
Save the completed-work notes and the scope actually carried out. Draft the invoice and a payment reminder when it is due.

Can it estimate a roof from aerial images?
These pages describe user-priced quotes. You still inspect the roof, confirm measurements, choose the repair method and provide costs. Automatic roof takeoff and structural assessment are not included.
Is this a separate app for roofers?
