A working example

From the first enquiry
to the last bit of admin.

This is an illustrative workflow using the existing shared tools in Trade PA. Your technical decisions and prices stay yours.

  1. Capture the enquiry

The customer wants the existing appearance matched. Foundations, brick selection and removal of the old wall need checking. Save the customer, property and reported work in the job record.

  2. Make the scope clear

Record what you have checked before you commit to the work:

    • Verified dimensions and agreed design
    • Brick match, mortar and finish
    • Foundation scope and inspection findings
    • Access, scaffold and removal of waste
  3. Prepare the quote and book the visit

State whether the quote covers labour only or materials too. Separate any unconfirmed foundation work from the agreed wall rebuild. Review the draft, send it when ready and add the agreed visit to your diary.

  4. Finish the job and follow through

Record approved scope changes and the finished work. Prepare invoices that clearly identify the work or stage being charged.

A few things to know.

Will it calculate structural requirements?

No. You use the required design and professional advice. Eve can organise the specification and prices you supply into a draft quote.

Is this a separate app for bricklayers?

No. It is the same Trade PA app, with examples showing how the shared tools fit this trade. Use your own scope, prices and job details to make it fit the way you work.

What should I try first?

Create a test customer and a draft for “rebuild a damaged garden wall”. Add your own scope and prices, check the wording, then explore the appointment and invoice tools. You can review the draft without sending it.
