Capture the enquiry
The customer wants new outlets before a room is decorated. The route, finish and existing installation need checking before the scope is final. Save the customer, property and reported work in the job record.
Make the scope clear
Record what you have checked before you commit to the work:
- Outlet locations and quantities you have checked
- Existing installation and inspection findings
- Cable route, access and making good
- Testing and document handover in your scope
Prepare the quote and book the visit
Write down what is included in the installation and who handles making good. Record extra outlets as an agreed change before adding them to the invoice. Review the draft, send it when ready and add the agreed visit to your diary.
Finish the job and follow through
Keep your completed-work notes and document references with the job. Follow up any separately quoted remedial work.

Can it complete electrical testing for me?
No. You carry out the inspection and testing and provide the results. Trade PA helps with job admin and paperwork; it does not verify an installation or confer certification.
Is this a separate app for electricians?
